Winter Engagement Photos
Nowhere quite beats a winter engagement more than Vanderveer Park or Scott County.
For unique-to-you winter session consider a session sledding, or visiting Snow Star while cozing up in their lodge. When planning a winter session flexibility is key. We can’t promise snow, we patiently wait for it and hope the stars align!

Can we bring our dog(s)?
YES!!! Resounding YES – we LOVE animals, and would actually be pretty bummed if you didn’t! We suggest you bring someone who can be the dog handler during your engagement session.
How do we choose the best engagement photo location?
The best location is one that matches how you naturally interact and what you want your photos to feel like. Comfort and movement matter more than choosing a trendy spot. This is why we really love unique locations, somewhere meaningful to the two of you, even if that means heading to a space that isn’t public, we’re here for it.
What time of day is best for engagement photos in the Quad Cities?
Golden hour is typically the most flattering, but timing depends on the location, season, and light direction.
What if we don’t know where to go?
That’s completely normal. Location guidance is always part of the planning process once you book.
If you’re newly engaged and want engagement photos that feel genuine, relaxed, and true to you, I’d love to help.
Whether you’re still deciding on a location or ready to book, I’m always happy to walk through options and help you choose a spot that fits you — not just what looks good online.
