John & Emily | Wedding at the Stardust | Davenport, IA

What can I say….the Petrov wedding was full of emotion, romance, beauty and style. The Stardust was able to provide the most unique and fun atmosphere for John and Emily’s dream wedding. The girls started getting ready at the stunning Black Hawk Hotel as the boys hung out and played pool in the basement after getting dressed to the nines at the couples home.

Their wedding was full of memorable events, personal to them telling the story of who they are as a couple: including their Golden Retriever, Winston, as John’s “best man” aka the bestest boy. Both of them anticipating excitedly to see Emily walk down that isle. Hands on his knees, John could barely breathe as she entered – it was the reaction every bride could hope for.

The ceremony was beautiful, not a dry eye in the house…and then…it was time to PARTY! The greeks know how to have an epic reception, it’s just like in the movies. Money EVERYWHERE, dancing everywhere – the FUNNEST wedding party to date!

Lastly John & Emily opted for day after portraits, rested and refreshed we were able to get some stunning sunset photos showcasing John and Emily’s intimate connection. This is such a great add on to breathe each other in for your wedding day portraits without a restricted timeline.
